A large multi-national client had successfully consolidated the information needed for financial forecasting from dozens of sources into a single system. The data was automatically imported from a complex network of systems around the globe on a 24-hour basis.

The system users in corporate finance had limited visibility as to what data had been successfully loaded and which financial modeling functions were ready for use. Consequently, support calls were numerous and frequent. The client needed a method to communicate this information to corporate finance users.

ADC developed a system status dashboard, which monitored system feeds and acknowledged dependent system functions, allowing each user to see in a simple "red - yellow- green" stoplight interface what data was available and which financial functions were ready for use.

Since users could easily view the status of various functions, the number of support calls were drastically reduced. Complex dependencies were presented in an easy to understand format accessible by all users.
